The reason behind my participation in the Digital Marketing Nanodegree program

  It is never too late to make your own chance. 

 I am Ahmed from Egypt; I am a medical sales representative in a pharmaceutical company.

As my age became 34 years and I didn't get promoted in my career I thought I might have to shift my career to have a new passion driven job. 

I really love programming but I didn't have time to learn it, until I met an old friend who is a full stack developer. He put me on the right path to start my programming career. I started learning mobile development in December 2019. And after a few months of learning and applying we worked together as a team for mobile applications development.

 Then we created our mobile application which is called "Next" which is an application to organize the turn in any organization customer service department or any department that requires customer to wait for his turn after the appearance of corona virus covid-19.   After we finished developing our "Next" application, we uploaded it to the Google play store but guess what? We had a very low number of downloads, which is a very disappointing situation.

We asked each other what we can do to promote our new app, as we don't have enough budget to hire a freelancer digital marketer or a social media specialist.

Here comes the Digital Marketing Nanodegree to answer our question and give us a second chance.

I decided to take Digital Marketing Nanodegree to learn how to promote our business and applications. I finished the challenger track, and learned how to create content and promote it, and that really made a difference and I am continuing to the next professional track.

If you have a new startup business and want to grow it you should learn how to market it. So, don't hesitate to participate in Egypt FWD Digital Marketing Nanodegree program.
